The 2026 edition of the DutchPhotonicsEvent exceeded expectations and was a great success. Held over two days at the 1931 Congress Centre in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the event brought together the scientific and business sides of the photonics and optics community.

With more than 25 speakers, 26 exhibitors and over 80 posters, the programme offered a diverse platform for sharing the latest innovations, research and developments across the photonics industry. Almost 400 attendees joined the event, creating valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, discover new technologies, build connections and explore new business opportunities.

The event also provided an open space for students and young researchers to present their work and showcase the next generation of photonics innovation. Meanwhile, exhibitors had the opportunity to present their technologies, solutions and expertise to a highly engaged audience.

The strong turnout and enthusiastic response demonstrated the value of bringing the Dutch photonics and optics community together. DutchPhotonicsEvent 2026 went beyond expectations and created a dynamic environment where industry, academia, students and professionals could connect, share ideas and look towards the future of photonics.
